Request reason:

I do want to appeal the block. I used the Spoonkymonkey account for years but lost the password. I therefore stopped using it. In the summer of 2018, I loaded material from an old drive onto a new computer. This included the Spoonkymonkey password, so I started using that account again and never used this account. I have been targetted by several Toronto IPs (see the sockpuppet decision) and asked for a voluntary indefinite block on Spoonkymonkey. That account was blocked at my request. I had hoped the IP stalkers would now leave me alone, and I would get a fresh start. There was no abusive sockpupettry. There was no overlap in the use of the Spoonkymonkey and Jaquestheripper account. There was no block evasion Jaquestheripper (talk) 14:44, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You requested a block of your Spoonkymonkey account stating "After 11 years and 3500 edits...I'm done" and "I might com, back someday when everyone edits under their own name, takes responsibility for what they write, and sockpuppets are really gone from the system". Just two days later you revive this old account and start editing the exact topic and articles that led to previous run ins and disputes with others. I don't see how this can be seen as anything other than an attempt to appear to be a completely different editor. Accounts looking for a fresh start should not be editing the same topics that led to problems with their original account. Jezebel's Ponyo^{bons mots} 20:08, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

So it's OK for others under IPs to stalk me, to harass me, make numerous false claims? It's OK to make it impossible for me to edit after years on Wikipedia without a problem, on allegations based on their fantasies? Wikipedia admins, rather than admit they made a mistake when I wanted to shake these people off, will go along with that? Fine. I'm done. I did a lot of good work for free. Keep your little club, enjoy your little bit of power. I keep coming across so many outdated pages, so much work that needs to be done, and your numbers are shrinking. So I was right when I asked for my account to be closed, and an admin promised it would be something reversible, not to trust Wikipedia admins?
