Re: Medal Counts[edit]

I'm savoring this time that he is blocked...he was a real pain to deal with especially after he launched his various sock puppets! Did you already message all of the people that agreed with my posting at the Olympics conventions debate? --Caponer 01:11, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The problem with rooting out sock puppetry is that sometimes people share a common IP address when they live together. I share an IP address with my roommates who also contribute so our votes were all called into question on various voting pages. --Caponer 01:13, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great Britain vs. Great Britain and Northern Ireland[edit]

It doesn't matter what constitutes the UK and what the country is made up of. I'm well aware that Northern Ireland is part of the UK. That's completely beside the point though. They call themselves Great Britain in the Olympics. Their official name, as given by their NOC and confirmed by the IOC, is Great Britain. If you guys have a problem with that, you should contact the NOC and suggest they change their name, not fill Wikipedia with erroneous data. I'm changing it back. Please leave it be. Re: Urgent[edit]

Thanks for pointing this out to me. I've put my vote in. I'm surprised by the many delete votes so far :-(.--Kalsermar 22:01, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

new evidence[edit]

I've put a new item here, might be an idea to add who blocked Wintermetal as I'm not sure who it was.--Kalsermar 22:24, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have new messages[edit]

They've changed it quite recently. :) Cheers, Sango123 (e) 02:38, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And again! Regards, Sango123 (e) 21:13, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Urgent![edit]

King, please go to this page ASAP, as the Olympic conventions pages have been nominated for deletion! I trust that you like them a lot and from your edits, you are not willing to lose all of the work you put in. I urge you to vote "Keep", as 3 weeks of work are about to go down the drain! Thanks. (and tell other active contributors.) --Jared [T]/[+] 20:34, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I voted to move it into the Wikiproject, if they will allow it. I figure that with the main options being keep and delete, this seems like a viable compromise. I don't want to lose all that work, and I think it will be a little bit more fitting as part of the Wikiproject. Hope that's ok! tiZom(2¢) 05:02, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
(Also, I'm not King!) :oP

Soda Userbox[edit]

About the soda userbox, yes, it is good to know that other people dislike soda. And I thought that I was the only one. x_x;;

I don't know exactly what happened, but Redwolf left Wikipedia, probably on the grounds of stress caused by I don't know what. Fetofs Hello! 23:42, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I also do not know exactly what happened to Redwolf, just that he left Wikipedia and (in my opinion) was one of the best editors we had. Perhaps you would be better off asking one of the longer-standing members, as they would be more likely to know the exact circumstances. thanks![edit]
