use of copyrighted images

[edit]

Hi JasmineJazzChapman, I'm really excited that you're helping us improve our coverage of Inuit artists. I'm sorry to say though that the use of images on Wikipedia requires that those images have a suitable license, and that did not appear to be the case with images you used on Mary K. Okheena. If you have permission from the copyright holder, and that's either the photographer or the artist if the photo shows an artwork (and this is a gross oversimplification) then they can either upload the images themselves or you can show that you have permission by contacting our OTRS team. Some information is at Wikipedia:Uploading_images#Copyrighted_images_with_no_license Vexations (talk) 21:43, 1 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, JasmineJazzChapman. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Mary K. Okheena, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Mary K. Okheena

[edit]

I just added a picture of her but it turns out the only one I could easily find was from 1977. I'm not sure but I think they may have moved back to Ulukhaktok. Now I look at the picture again I think she was pregnant then. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 08:52, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
