A tag has been placed on BioCultural Landscapes & Seascapes (BCLS) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from https://plus.google.com/107478410160659334381/about. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Copyright infringement[edit]

The problem is that even though you wrote the Google+ page, this is still against Wikipedia's rules as far as copyright goes. There is also the additional problem that it was written in a promotional tone and didn't have anything to show that your group is ultimately noteworthy. I can't seem to find anything on the internet to show that your group passes WP:GROUP. Don't take this badly- it's very, very difficult for an organization of any type or size to pass notability guidelines. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:45, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio[edit]

The problem other than the copyvio is that there isn't any notability to show that your group passes WP:ORG. It was also wildly promotional for the group, which is natural when you consider that you'd originally wrote this for your organization's page to make people interested in it. There just isn't any notability in the slightest for your group. If there had been any substantial coverage I'd have been willing to clean the article up myself, but there just isn't any coverage and it's not up to Wikipedia to make up the difference. Not every organization is notable, not even if they're related to notable persons or cover notable subject matter. I'm going to decline your request to have the page restated for these reasons. Even without copyvio it would still be deleted for a lack of notability and there isn't any coverage to show that it would pass notability anytime soon.
