Cultural Influence of Wikipedia[edit]

1) Before this I class I mostly used Wikipedia to look for things I was curious about or to learn the main concept of a major issue. I did not used Wikipedia as a primary source of research. I used Wikipedia more as a guide to start my research, to learn what I am researching and other useful concepts I could use in my research. After having edited a Wikipedia I have more confidence is writing in a public domain where anybody can judge me.

2) If you see my contributions (my contributions), you would see that I have taken my time to make my article as good as it can be. You would say that this person worked a lot on his [sandbox] before going live, which is key in order to achieve success according to Wikipedia's standard. Also you would see that this person worked different days on the same article, he did not tried to write the whole article at once.

3) To become more integrated with the Wikipedia community this person should contribute to several different articles as well as in discussions and in talk pages with other Wikipedia users. The more active an user can be, the more influential and respected this person becomes in the community.

Hey, I just reviewed your page on Special Forces Brigades of the Republic of Korea. I found it to be a well written article. My only suggestion would be for you to check out a few more sources and broaden the topic a bit more to encompass the entire topic.Jw07334 (talk) 22:34, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
