How to submit article from userpage/ project space?

I wrote an article on an artist, Aaron Berkman and have done all of the references, citing sources, etc. I wrote the article in my userpage/ project space and have saved it. I now would like to submit to main article space so that it actually appears on Wikipedia. Please give me directions since i'm at a loss and also how do i download a jpg to go along with the article. thanks much.jeanette (i also did ten edits today to qualify for a download of a jpeg....) Hi Jeanette, I've had a quick look at User:Jeanettehendler/Aaron_Berkman which I presume is the article you're referring to. Simple answer is you use the "Move" function which is one of the tabs at the top of the screen. If you're using the "Beta" viewer, its under the down pointing triangle to the right of "History". There are a few things that need cleaning up on the article - linking, formatting, headers, categories etc, but I guess there's no reason why this can't be done in the article space. Let me know if you want any help with this. I notice that there was a previous version of the article that has been deleted as a "blatent copyright violation" - have you checked that this is not still the case? (i.e. is it all your own words?) As to images, you upload it using the "Upload file" link on the left hand side under toolbox. Please make sure that you own the copyright to the image and explain any other places on the internet that the picture already appears. AndrewRT(Talk) 13:38, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Picture problems

Looking at your logs, you haven't actually uploaded any files, which explains why you cant link it in. I'm not sure why it hasn't uploaded properly - could you talk me through exactly what you did? AndrewRT(Talk) 21:10, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Article tags

Hi Jeanette,

I've added a few maintenance tags to the article - please don't take it as a criticism, they're just there as a way of attracting attention from people who can help sort them out. I've sorted out the categories now and another editor has also helped out with the formatting. The catagories should exactly match the most appropriate existing categories, which can be found by looking at similar artists and seeing what categories are listed for them.
