Thanks for uploading Image:1235894832 f73f759ece.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Editing advice[edit]

Thanks for working on some Queensland geographical articles, we need all the help we can get. I want to make some suggestions that hopefully, will help you up the learning curve.

  • If you could add a summary of the edits it helps other editors who watch changes on their watchlists.
  • Don't bother uploading copyrighted images. The copyright police will shortly remove it, even if you are like me and don't care about image licenses.
  • Try not to use emotive words like beautiful to describe the Pacific Ocean or other things. Even though it is indeed a great spectacle from the top of Q1 we have to be neutral.
  • If you check the Tallebudgera Creek page and note the improvements I made to your stub by checking the history, you could do the same if you happen to start the Currumbin Creek article. It is always a good idea to check pages of the same kind and follow that format with any article you create.
  • If your starting articles then make sure that the topic is notable, for example, I can see Lacey's Lane being deleted because its significance may be too difficult to establish.
  • To assist my edits I created an Editing_tools page. I would suggest you check some of the links on style, policy and guidelines. Please follow the policy for providing inline citations at Template:Cite web and Wikipedia:Citing sources.
  • Also the correct page for the McPherson Range is McPherson Range with a capital P. Please don't redirect that to Gold Coast Hinterland because it is not the same thing.

I hope you find this constructive and look forward to seeing some more of your work. - Shiftchange (talk) 12:25, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
