Question to Jeff G. re Larry Geller

I just deleted an article "Larry Geller". I want to resubmit under same name but very short version to try and get it through. I have no idea how to put in format that Wikipedia would approve. Is there a way I can resubmit it today and you or someone look at it to see if it will go through? Please let me know. Thanks!

@Keshakoko1: Hi. Draft:Larry Geller wasn't an article yet, it was a draft. You didn't have to flag it with {{db-g7}} to have it deleted, you could have blanked it temporarily. Why did you flag it with {{db-g7}} to have it deleted? Now, all the work we did on it is no longer visible to me in the page history. If you can get it back by posting a request for undeletion at User talk:NawlinWiki or the talk page of another admin willing to restore it, we can at least use its references, plus the other research on its talk page Draft talk:Larry Geller. See WP:AFTERDELETE for details. Fortunately, you have not deleted https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Keshakoko1&oldid=689968883#Larry_Geller or User:Keshakoko1/sandbox/Larry Geller. I have no idea whether I'm typing in right spot because just to find WHERE to send a reply is complicated. I wrote a paragraph or two to you but didn't see a reply so maybe you didn't get it? There is nothing easy about this site. Maybe if you respond, it would take me to a link saying CLICK HERE to reply just so a person knows where to respond. As I said before, I'm totally confused on what has been done on my Larry Geller DRAFT. I had DELETED it based on Tim Trent telling me how. Then next thing when I check, you or someone said you UNDELETED it and people have been editing it for me??? I have no idea if or when this will be ready to post. The reason I deleted the article is - I wanted to DELETE and then post a very simple, short article to get approved. Seems this is a complicated mess and I want to know whether this is completed and ready to approve. If not, I truly would like to know so I can DELETE and submit a short article which will be approved. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE update me so I can finally resolve this. I'm getting tired messing with it.....it was started in May and it's now November. This is unbelievable. PLEASE let me know where it stands.

Hi there Chris.  :-)     Take a deep breath. Hold it... hold it in... okay let it out. Ahhhh. Everything will be okay. Now, here is the status, starting from the beginning, as I understand it.
  1. In 2001, wikipedia started. It is still a bit of a mess. ;-)
  2. In 2009, somebody unknown wrote the Larry Geller article, version #1. Let us call that old thing LG#1.
  3. In 2010, a wikipedia admin deleted LG#1 , because it was copyright infringement (somebody had plagiarized straight from another off-wikipedia author)

  1. In May 2015, Chris began working on LG#2, in their wikipedia user-sandbox. Welcome to wikipedia! but it can be confusing so keep your cool...
  2. You also were working with some wikipedians in the AfC review queue, who gave you some instructions, but the instructions were too confusing for you to follow
  3. In Nov 2015, Chris posted a question at an AfC noticeboard queue, and my friend TimTrent==FiddleFaddle started working with you.
  4. One of the first things that happened, was the creation of LG#3 over at Draft:Larry_Geller
  5. Chris and TimTrent==FiddleFaddle spoke about how to fix LG#3 , and delete LG#2 as obsolete
  6. Meanwhile, 75108 noticed the conversation about LG#3, and added some sources to Draft_talk:Larry_Geller
  7. Around the same time, Jeff noticed the conversation too, and started working on the body-prose of LG#3 at Draft:Larry_Geller
  8. Not realizing that 75108 and Jeff were working on LG#3, Chris asked a wikipedia admin to delete LG#3, which was done
  9. Wanting to continue working on the topic, Jeff and 75108 asked that same wikipedia admin to undelete the material
  10. After the undeletion, Jeff created LG#4 in his wikipedia-sandbox.
  11. Later, Jeff moved back to the draftspace, creating LG#5, which is once again at Draft:Larry_Geller. Confusing!
  12. All that confusing stuff is in the past. Currently , what is happening is this: everybody involved (Jeff/75108/Chris/TimTrent) should be working on Draft:Larry_Geller, which is LG#5, the fifth version of the article.
  • At the moment, LG#5 is in rough shape. It has a lot of sources, but we need to work on properly reflecting those sources. Jeff is spearheading this task, but others are free to help!
  • Soon... not today, not tomorrow, but in a short timeframe (subject to thanksgiving and sleep and other tasks), LG#5 which is Draft:Larry_Geller, will become LG#6, which is Larry Geller.
  • Then, further work will continue. But for right now, LG#5 is too rough-looking to become LG#6, it needs some cleanup work. Jeff is working on it, I may try to work on it, Chris you are also free to help work on it.
As soon as Jeff or Tim decide that all of us, working together, have cleaned up Draft:Larry Geller well enough, then Larry Geller will appear. At that point it will NOT be deleted any more, because it is going to be written wiki-properly, and we have found sufficient sources for a dedicated article. How long the clean-up-work takes, depends on how much time people have to volunteer on this specific Larry Geller effort. Make sense? 75.108.94.227 (talk) 19:42, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

QUESTION

Hi Jeff G!

I know nothing about Wikipedia and it's extremely hard to follow. I just got a message this morning (first one I've seen in several days) and people were saying they've heard nothing from me? I sent you a message about a week ago saying last time I got message from Tim Trent he told me how to remove and delete the long version.....which is what I planned on posting a very short article. But then someone reversed my delete and started editing the longer version. This is great but NOW, people are posting and getting frustrated saying I'm not contributing. I feel I am in a complete maze of delete, undelete, people helping, then people complaining I'm not doing editing. I'm even more frustrated as this has wasted my time when I probably could have posted the short version and moved on with it.

Now, where does this stand? Is it at a standstill again and not any closer in being able to approve and posted this article? I can't believe I started this in May and am going around and around with everyone under the sun. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give me an HONEST ANSWER to where this article stands??? PLEASE!! THANK YOU!
