What happened to Deletionpedia?

I'm presuming you're Jeff G. from deletionpedia.

The main page doesn't load anymore. A lot of pages only load if you go to the viewing history and view the most recent version. Though some pages like Reddcoin appear to remain intact. Do you know what's going on? Also, the site appears to have forgotten my contributions: the site records a comment I left on Guaka's talk page under the username "Koopinator" but Special:Contributions/Koopinator yields nothing. Koopinator (talk) 16:04, 5 August 2023 (UTC)

Also pinging @Guaka: in case he's still here (though he hasn't contributed in 3 years)
Going by page histories, it seems all records of contributions except those of Guaka have been wiped from the site.
The site appears to have stopped working in February 2023.[1][2] Koopinator (talk) 16:12, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
I used the waybackmachine to gather more info. From what I'm gathering, this is all an attempt by Guaka to silently and slowly leave the internet:
  • 23 July 2020: Last English Wikipedia edit by Guaka [3]
  • c. November 2020 - March 2021 (possibly in Q1 2021 assuming simultaneous purge of contact lists): Guaka's contact form on guaka.org is down [4][5]
  • c. January 2021 - April 2022 (possibly in Q1 2021 assuming simultaneous purge of contact lists): Guaka's contact form on kasper.re is down [6][7]
  • 13 February 2022: After not making any edits to any Wikimedia projects for 9 months, Guaka returns to make edits to 5 different non-English Wikipedias in order to blank or trim them. Most of these edits are to his own userpages. [8]
  • 7 May 2022: Guaka's last known edit on Deletionpedia, altering CSS. [9] Does not appear to have impacted the site's functioning.
  • February 2023: Main page stops loading [10] [11]

@Koopinator: Hi again. Sadly, multiple sites run by Guaka are still down after upgrade accidents, despite multiple efforts by multiple people to try to get them running again. I last heard from that very busy user in June 2023. If you had email enabled with a valid address, you would probably be able to email that user via Special:EmailUser/Guaka.   — Jeff G. ツ 06:40, 10 August 2023 (UTC)

WikiWednesday (Aug 23) and Governors Island Wiki-Picnic (Sun Aug 27)

August 23: WikiWednesday @ Prime Produce
WikiWednesday in Manhattan

You are invited to join the Wikimedia NYC community for our WikiWednesday Salon, with in-person at Prime Produce in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, as well as an online-based participation option. No experience of anything at all is required. All are welcome!

All attendees are subject to Wikimedia NYC's Code of Conduct. In addition, to participate in person, you should be vaccinated and also be sure to respect others' personal space, and we may limit overall attendance size if appropriate.

Additionally, you are invited to the picnic anyone can edit on Governors Island, at Colonel's Row by ArtCrawl Harlem house, as part of the Great North American Wiknic celebrations (and Wikimania satellite events) being held across the continent.

This is the first big summer Wiknic since the 2019 edition and will feature an edit-a-thon focused on Governors Island and ArtCrawl Harlem, Depths of Wikipedia (recently of perpetual stew fame), as well as plenty more food topics drawing on the potluck ethos. All are welcome, new and experienced!

All attendees are subject to Wikimedia NYC's Code of Conduct, and don't forget your sunscreen!

(You can subscribe/unsubscribe from future notifications for NYC-area events by adding or removing your name from this list.)

Template:User reverted by Jimbo, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Template:User reverted by Jimbo and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Template:User reverted by Jimbo during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Dawnbails (talk) 02:43, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
