Confirmation bias[edit]

Thanks for your comments. The main source for the article was the Oswald and Grosjean (2004) book chapter, and to a slightly lesser extent, the Nickerson (1998) review paper. But other sources, including Risen and Gilovich as you point out, say that the meaning of "confirmation bias" has evolved over time. The sentence that you point out about diverse uses of the term "confirmation bias" is not a recent addition but has been there a couple of years.
