RE: Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

Thanks for taking the time to review my work. I am fairly new and not certain what the problem is with the reference list that is causing the article to be on hold. Any clarification and specific changes that you need would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much :)

Alright, re-reviewed it's all good now. Fridae'§Doom | Spare your time? 22:26, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much FD:) Only one question, I looked over the rating system and noticed that for C class one of the main issues is not reliable sources, I have the Wall Street Journal, Several .gov sites with official documents, a published study straight from the mayo clinic and USA Today. I thought these were all pretty credible sources. Please let me know your thought on this as I would love to improve this as much as possible.

Government websites, established research institutes and established newspapers and authors are credible sources. The Wall Street Journal would fall under this category. Fridae'§Doom | Spare your time? 00:33, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:KwikMedLogo.JPG[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:KwikMedLogo.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 22:30, 21 July 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 22:30, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • As a general rule of thumb, a logo should be tagged as a {{Non-free logo}} and used in articles about the related company/product under the WP:Non-free content guidelines. Permission of the owner of the image is not required for these sorts of non-free images. —C.Fred (talk) 22:37, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

July 2010[edit]

Please do not continue to upload files missing information on their copyright status, as you did with File:KwikMedLogo.JPG. Note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and that the copyright status of all media files uploaded to Wikipedia must be verifiable by others. If you are unsure of the correct copyright template, please refer to the list of image copyright tags. If you would like to experiment with uploading files, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image File:KwikMedHomePage.JPG[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:KwikMedHomePage.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:
