Welcome![edit]

Hello, JerickHerick35, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits has not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 05:45, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced biographical details[edit]

Please stop adding unsourced biographical information to Joseph Garrett. By my count, you've added an unsourced birth date three times. See our policy on verifiability. If you have a source for this information, please add it. If you don't understand Wikipedia's policies, you may wish to go through The Wikipedia Adventure, a fun introduction. Or, you could ask at the help desk or tea house. If you are having difficulty in locating reliable sources, or you find a source that you are not sure of, try posting to the talk page. There are several veteran editors who keep this page on their watchlist, and they can help you. Please note that if you continue to add unsourced information to a biography of a living person, it's possible you could end up blocked from editing Wikipedia. Don't let this happen. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Joseph Garrett. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 03:18, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for contravening Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy, as you did at Joseph Garrett. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:13, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Former," not "retired," is the standard for the lead sentences of articles about sports players who are no longer active. Please do not change it back to "retired." --A guy saved by Jesus (talk) 02:29, 15 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

October 2016[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Joseph Garrett. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You've been warned about this before and been blocked for it once already. Stop adding unsourced content to a biography of a living person. Information icon Hello, I'm SummerPhDv2.0. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Stormtrooper (Star Wars) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
