One of the sources for "freedom fighter" is titled "Freedom Fighter or Religious Fanatic?" and does not seem to particularly support the claim that he was the former; other sources discuss a controversy around him as well. This is a very short article but not mentioning the controversy there isn't a particularly good look.

Authorized by whom? The subject has been dead for decades.

Also, most sources given do not mention the book. Probably notable, but this article as it stands needs a lot of work.

Nomination of Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal for deletion[edit]

Shihab Chottur moved to draftspace[edit]
