About Annie's road... Interesting story, do you have any cites for this? It might be good if you could provide citations. You may want to look at Wikipedia policy on notability and verifiability... again welcome! ++Lar: t/c 22:18, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The white lady[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Vegaswikian 23:23, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you tried to provide a reference although it didn't format very well. I took that reference and did some more digging in Google, this story seems to be at least marginally notable, so I added a couple more references, and a link to a Google map of the road. If you have more references, either go ahead and add them or just put them on the talk page of the article, someone can move them for you. If the article gets tagged for deletion, it's important to let it go through the process, and not remove tagging, though... Happy editing! (Note: If you would like to reply you can do so here, I'll be watching for a while.) ++Lar: t/c 03:04, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article Annie's Road has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, and by nature unverifiable urban legend. No assertion of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --§Pumpmeup 06:45, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
