I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! -- John of Reading (talk) 13:34, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Another bit of advice. Try using the "Preview" facility before you save your changes. That'll let you see what the effect of the change would be, & if it looks wrong you can correct it before saving. David Biddulph (talk) 14:47, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
... and another useful item of reading material is WP:REF. David Biddulph (talk) 15:01, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:31, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mary Renault[edit]

Hi Jessica, Thanks for your additions to Mary Renault. I wonder if you could add the page numbers from the biographies you cite. It is part of the Wikipedia practice and allows others to easily find the references you mention. I hope you enjoy editing and will stay with the community.
