If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

Thanks for uploading File:RDKeyes Abstract 5.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Are you Richard Keyes?

Are you Richard Keyes? If so, please take a read of WP:COI and Wikipedia:Autobiography. If you are not Richard Keyes, then there's a problem with all the images you uploaded. In particular, you've made the claim that you the copyright holder have released them under a CC license. But you also state the copyright holder is Richard Keyes. Clearly these two conflict and I'm pretty sure the later is correct. Even ignoring the incorrect info, there's no evidence from Richard Keyes website that he's released them under a CC license and it's not clear how this was communicated with you if he has. If Richard Keyes has emailed you to release these images under the CC license you will need to send a copy of this email to OTRS. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. I am not Richard Keyes

I am not Richard Keyes, but I am his son. I'm actually somewhat embarrassed to find that according to Wikipedia policy WP:COI on conflict of interest, I have technically violated that policy. I did not knowingly violate the policy, and even though I did attempt to read everything I could on proper policy and procedure, I was not aware of my conflict. The spirit of my article was not an attempt to commercially promote Richard Keyes, but with his recent granting of Professor Emeritus status, was an attempt to add the information about his life and work to the greater common knowledge base that is Wikipedia. After reviewing the article, I believe that the information provided was done so with a neutral point of view, and that I was able to identify and minimize any bias that I may have. I now humbly and honestly request the help of the Wikipedia community in my attempt to make this a better article and to make sure it conforms to the Wikipedia standards. I know now that in the future, I will have to be very careful to limit any editing I do to this article, do to my COI, and limit myself to non-controversial edits. I have also requested written conformation of the copyright status and permission for Wikipedia to use the images of his artwork, and will upload that as soon as I receide it from him.
