October 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Ingemar Macarine. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Information icon Hello, I'm Domdeparis. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Ingemar Macarine, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Welcome![edit]

Hello, JeynerGil, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Ingemar Macarine, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms our use and policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Your mail to me[edit]

Hi I recently received an email from you concerning Ingemar Macarine. I only use e-mail for confidential or off-wiki subjects so I will reply here. You say "My source is the actual person himself. He sent me his resume and requested to update wikipedia.". This in wikipedia means that you have what is known as a conflict of interest and you should not be directly editing this article but requesting edits via an WP:EDITREQUEST on the talk page. It is clear that this article has been created and editied over the years as a means of promoting this person in contradiction with WP:NOTSOAPBOX. Emails from the subject are not considered as reliable secondary sources. --Dom from Paris (talk) 08:39, 16 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not directly edit this article again and make the necessary WP:DISCLOSURE. If you do not and continue to directly edit you may face sanctions and see your account blocked. Dom from Paris (talk) 06:36, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not send me emails if it is to discuss editing issues. If you are a friend of the subject you have a conflict of interest and should go through an WP:EDITREQUEST please read this page and follow the instructions. Dom from Paris (talk) 17:03, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Jeyner I saw the message you left on my page. It seems to me that you are very new to wikipedia so I want to cut you some slack, but Domdeparis has left you 3 messages detailing the issues and I notice that you have ignored all three. At this point you are running the risk of being blocked from editing due to multiple violations. I would urge you to stop editing that page until such time as you have discussed the issues. If you have questions, please ask them here, but continuing to ignore the warnings and push ahead is not working. --Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 05:40, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
