assistance with article[edit]

I would like to move this article to the draft space, but since my profile is too new I can't do it, can someone move this article for me?

Also, someone flagged it for "speedy deletion", and told me that I can contest it, but I cannot find how to do that on my profile or in my article editing space. I don't want this article to be deleted!

I am trying to make the revisions requested, but some are unclear. Is there a way to see where in the article the editing user feels that the issue exists (eg. "original research"), so that I can either confirm that it is not violating the Wiki standards it or edit it appropriately.

It looks like your profile is not too new after all. The best way to find out where those users think the problems are is to ask them directly by leaving them a message on their user talk page, like you did here. I have two tags left on my article- original research and primary sources. Can someone help me figure out where these issues are within the article, and what areas need to be changed to conform with Wiki guidelines? I have cited all my sources and remained neutral, not drawing any conclusions- as far as I can see.

If I had to guess, I would say that because you are the author of half of the references, and thus it's your own research, that they added the PRIMARY and OR tags. Please help me with... The "original research" and "primary source" tags were removed, but now I have a tag on the article Duarte galactosemia that says the article 'relies too much on medical references' or needs 'additional verification'. There is very little research established on this topic, which is described in the article. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get this tag off my article? thanks!

The editor who added that maintenance tag also pointed out multiple parts in the article where they felt a medical citation should be provided. For example, the "Research" section talks about "A large, multi-state research study", but does not cite any references. The last paragraph of the "diagnosis" section also doesn't cite any references. If references for that content don't exist, then the "original research" tag that was removed would turn out to have been accurate. Huon (talk) 22:29, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Huon, for your advice about the Duarte Galactosemia article, but there are references in each of those sections, immediately preceding the "medical citation needed" tags. The large, multi-state research study that is currently underway as referenced in the article, does not have a publication reference as it is an ongoing study. However, there IS a citation in that section that refers to the funding organization (PCORI) website, which contains a detailed description of the study. I have added an extra citation to the "diagnosis" section, this information is mostly from the genereviews article on Duarte Variant Galactosemia. As described in this article, there has not been a lot of research done on DG, and the genereviews article is the most comprehensive and detailed source of information about DG that is currently available. Unpublished references are useless on Wikipedia. Our readers must be able to verify the content on their own. There are still multiple paragraphs whose sources remain unclear. If the ^{[6, 10]} and ^[4] and so on in the "management" section are meant to refer to the article's current sources, you'll want to check out WP:REFB#Same reference used more than once. Right now those don't point anywhere, and since the draft doesn't have ten references, I have no idea what [10] should refer to. If someone were to introduce a new reference before the one that's currently first, the numbering would change, too - thus adding such a superscript number without using Wikipedia's system of footnotes is prone to getting outdated and misleading. Sourcing of medical and health-related content on Wikipedia is guided by our medical sourcing guidelines, commonly referred to as MEDRS.
