Why did you remove the willy on wheels reference — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jig-Saw (talkcontribs)

Can you provide a little more detail? Which page are you referring to? —Mets501 (talk) 02:42, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

This is what you have to do:

  1. Open the Special:Upload page.
  2. Read the useful information there. It says you have to provide: a source (where you got the image) and some copyright information. Wikipedia accepts only free images (public domain, GFDL, some Creative Commons, etc.) or fair use images (example: a movie screenshot, an album cover, etc.) when there is no free equivalent available.
  3. If you have the required source and copyright information, go on.
  4. Click on the "Choose file" button and select the file on your hard disk.
  5. Type the desired name in the "destination filename" field. This is the filename that will be used on Wikipedia.
  6. Type the source information in the "summary" field (example: a web site address).
  7. Select a license from the "Licensing" menu (example: GFDL, public domain, movie screenshot, album cover, logo, ...)
  8. Click on "upload file".
  9. Check the resulting page: if it is missing some information, you can add it now.

If you still don't understand something, I can explain it further. Mushroom (Talk) 22:15, 1 September 2006 (UTC) yep! puzzle twist of riddle and rime goes out of control before our eyes and you begin to realise i shall win and you shall not rise 06:35, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I still dont quite get it would you walk me through the steps one step at a time while i report to you after finishing each step.I hate to keep pestering you and i can just ask someone else if you would rather.I am truly ashamed of this slow learning. Jig-Saw 04:40, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Let's start from the beginning: what's the image you want to upload and in which article do you want to put it? Mushroom (Talk) 13:47, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

upload[edit]

Sorry I took so long, but i had troblesome real world business to attend to. anyway Mushroom if you go to google and type Freeza you will find on the top row all the way to the left a picture of a lizard. go one over to the right and you will see that same lizard with its fists at it's sides and a big aura around it. I want to upload this to--freeza Jig-Saw 22:16, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, you have to save the image to your hard disk. Then go to Special:Upload, click on the button that says "Browse", "Choose file" or something similar (it depends on the browser) and select the image from your hard disk. Mushroom (Talk) 22:50, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your change[edit]

This edit seems to imply that you have the ability to block a user. Since I'm pretty sure you aren't an admin, do not threaten other users with such actions. Remember to always Assume Good Faith! ~ PHDrillSergeant...§ 17:27, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I admit I have been prying into other users conversations and I was shocked to see the abuse GOD was handed being a new user, I am pretty sure that Wikipedia has a policy of "DO NOT BITE THE NEWCOMERS" I find it very unfair that you were forcing him to change his username because you and a few others deemed it to be *inappropriate*. If Wikipedia has a problem with Users Usernames then it should create a filter when making a new account blocking things like explicits, celebs, religious figures etc. Why did David Underdown not get this treatment when on his userpage he says something along the lines of "I am as far as I know not related in any way to David Underdown". Clearly David Underdown is a celeb although I personally have not heard of him.--GOD 09:38, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
