I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

I noticed that your username, "Jillcohn", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because usernames which imply that you might be some specific, identifiable person (such as the musician Jill Cohn) are not typically allowed per WP:IMPERSONATE, except when it is your own name. i have the "user name" of Jillcohn because I AM JILL COHN the MUSICIAN to which you are refering to and I just want my page restored AND searchable on your website.. that' it.. As for your username, editors are of course allowed to use their real names as their user names as explained in WP:REALNAME. Editors are not, however, to pretend they are someone else (especially a specific, identifiable person who happens to have a Wikipedia article written about them) and use that person's name as their username. Sometimes and can be difficult to tell which is which since all Wikipedia has to go on is what you are posting and who you say you are; so, you can help clarify things (a bit) by sending an email to Wikipedia OTRS at info-en@wikimedia.org verifying who you are. Once your email has been received and verified by an OTRS volunteer, the template {{OTRS identity}} will be added to your userpage by an OTRS volunteer so that nobody mistakes you for someone else. You don't have to do any of this if you don't want, but it does clarify who you are and wil reduce the cances of you being accused of being someone else.

Some general advice on other things.

• Please take a look at Help:Introduction to talk pages/1 and Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines for reference. Talk page posts are how editors communicate with one another so it's very important to learn how to use them correctly.
• Please try and remember to always sign your talk page posts. There are special ways to do this on Wikipedia, but the easiest way is explained in WP:TILDE. A signature is important because it lets others know who posted and when they posted without having to did through the page's edit history to find out.
• Please remember that your posts can be seen by pretty much anyone who can access a computer, so posting information that is personal about yourself or another person might not be the wisest thing to do from a personal privacy standpoint as explained in WP:OUTING.
• Wikipedia is a collaborative editing project. Its participates are all volunteers from all over the world. So, not everyone is from the same time zone or from the same cultural background, etc. as you. That is why it's really quite important to keep your posts as civil as possible since. Try and avoid things like "shouting" or excessive use of punctuation such as question marks, etc. Editors are under no obligation to respond to anything you post, so making demands is less likely to elicit a response than making a polite request. It may also take some time for a reply to come, so try not to expect immediate responses to your posts.
• Wikipedia articles are not personal webpages, social media pages, or PR pages, etc. Subjects of Wikipedia articles do not have any ownership rights or any final editorial control over article content. Article content is determined through consensus and whether it is in accordance with Wikipedia's various policies and guidelines. Please refer to Wikipedia:An article about yourself isn't necessarily a good thing and Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide and Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Dealing with articles about yourself for some more information on this. YOu should also be aware that even your user page is subject to Wikipedia's policy and guidelines and it is not something you own per se. So, you don't really have a "My page" but rather there is a "Wikipedia article written about you". This might seem like a subtle distinction to make, but it's important to understand the difference because it can quickly lead to serous problems if you ignore it.
• Wikipedia does not have any control per se over online search engines such as Google or Yahoo, so how long it takes an article to show up when you search for it online depends on things beyond Wikipedia's control. "Jill Cohn" was just restored a while ago, so it may take sometime for search engines to pick it up again.

As I posted below, if you have any more general questions about editing, etc., the Wikipedia Teahouse can be a very good place to ask. Jill Cohn article

Hi Jillcohn. I saw your post on the user talk page of Fuhghettaboutit. I did some very basic article talk page editing to add some relevant templates that you might find helpful. I also added some basic information above here on your user talk page for reference. Those posts contain some links to pages which might help answer some questions you have about Wikipedia editing and also help you avoid some problems that new editors often frequently encounter.

I also noticed from your edit history that you have made some edits to User:Kd4dcy/jillcohn. Kd4dcy is an account which has not edited in quite a long time, so I am just wondering if there is any connection between you and that particular account. It seems a bit unusual that your very first edit made with your account would be to add some fairly obscure and complicated Wikicode to a page which had not been edited for any reason other than minor cleanup in over 10 years. Perhaps this was a previous account of yours that you forgot the password to? If that's the case, then that's OK. I am just curious and it the kind of thing that other experienced editors are going notice as well, clarifying whether there's a connection may help avoid any confusion. You might want to also take a look at WP:MULTIPLE for reference as well.

Finally, if you have a general questions about editing or anything else Wikipedia related, a good place to ask for help is at the Wikipedia Teahouse. Just for reference, the article Jill Cohn has been nominated for deletion by another editor, so I have added the above notification template as a courtesy to you since you are the one who requested it be restored to the mainspace. Also, since you are new, I suggest you take a look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#Contributing to AfD discussions and Wikipedia:Guide to deletion#General advice because deletion discussions are bascially where the Wikipedia community evaluates whether the subject of a particular article is Wikipedia notable enough for a stand-alone article. These discussion are not simply a counting of votes; they are determined by which side's arguments more accurately reflect relative policies and guidelines. So, you should familiarize yourself with how these discussions work by taking a look at the aforementioned links I provided as well as Wikipedia:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions. There is pretty much a zero tolerance for disruption in these types of discussions, so you need to be very careful about what you post.
