Great Train eXpress[edit]

Great Train Express is a planned higher-speed commuter rail network in the Seoul Capital Area project consisting of three separate lines, named GTX A, GTX B and GTX C, and scheduled for completion in 2025.[1][2][3] The project was first envisioned in the late 2000s, and construction of GTX Line A began in 2017.

GTX A[edit]

The line has been approved and is scheduled to start construction in late 2018. The section between Samseong Station and Suseo Station is already under construction, and service is expected to start between Samseong Station and Dongtan Station as early as 2023.

Weiwei’s peer review[edit]

1. No. I didn’t see the importance of the GTX, why it matters, what it contributes to the Korea society.

2. Yes. The author is introducing three lines of GTX, and she said it in the very first sentence.

3. No. The author didn’t talk too much about the following parts.

4. The importance of the GTX.

5. The history and development of GTX. Maybe could be a separate section.

6. Yes. The author talked about GTX A,B, C separately.

7. Yes. The three lines are of equal importance and equal length.

8. Yes.

9. No. The author is simply descibing the ongoing progress.

10. No.

11. No.

12. No.

13. No. I think the author did pretty well.

14. Yes. They are all from journals and worldwide news.

15. Yes. The 8th citation is cited quite frequently.

16. No.

The article is in a neutral tone and the sources are reliable. One thing I like is that the author provides detailed forms of the trail lines. (Is this original or adapted from other sources? If so, any citations?) Some drawbacks, however, are that the article is unbalanced in terms of citations--the 8th citation is cited several times and is much more than the others. Also some citations are repeated, the author could use cite from existed source instead of creating a new one. And the last sentence in section GTX B saying the mayor’s claims need to have a clear citation connected. There are some grammar mistakes needed to fix. What's more, at the begining of the article, the author introduces the history/development of the GTX, which could be a separate section or a separate pragraph. Overall, the draft is in a good shape!
