January 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page 1992 Los Angeles riots has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:12, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ronhjones, sorry my English is not so good. My revert was too slow, you were faster ;-). I used popups so i reverted to a version of a vandalism account. Greetings and a happy new year, Jivee Blau (talk) 23:19, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, now I understand. I thought it was an odd revert. Huggle is usually the quickest. Message struck out  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:29, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for rollback[edit]

Hi Jivee Blau. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 08:15, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the information ! Greetings --Jivee Blau (talk) 16:10, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jivee, please look before you leap. This edit is actually an improvement, a correction of a vandal edit--just look through the history. Please go to the IP's page and remove the vandalism warning. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 01:29, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Thank you for your information. --Jivee Blau (talk) 01:32, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure thing. You know, sometimes you have to look twice, or three times--and sometimes a look at the history is quite revealing. Of course it helps if you know that Neal Patrick Harris is in fact gay, which in the US is still newsworthy. Take it easy, Drmies (talk) 01:34, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You´re right, I come from Germany so I don´t know Neil Patrick Harris and his homosexuality... kind regards --Jivee Blau (talk) 01:42, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I know; I saw that on your user page. He is real cute! (or so my wife says) Alles gute, Drmies (talk) 05:38, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, du kommst aus Mainz? Das ist aber witzig--I have a few Mainz-related articles here and on the German wiki. Today's featured article on the German wiki was de:Charlie Parker, and I uploaded the photo they had on the wiki front page. Drmies (talk) 05:41, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You mean this file ? Congratulations ! ;-) You´re right, but I come not directly from Mainz, I come from the proximity of the city, from Rhenish Hesse... Kind regards --Jivee Blau (talk) 20:21, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CSD tagging and reverting[edit]

Thanks for helping to fight vandalism. Regarding the deleted article Nuclear Sperm created by 80sthrash (talk · contribs), I'm not sure if you remember the edit history with that, hopefully you do. The original and only editor of that article blanked the page several times and you reverted and warned him about it. The blanking is allowable and you should not revert and warn him. Instead, you should tag the blanked article as {{db-blanked}}. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:48, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thank you for your information. Kind regards, --Jivee Blau (talk) 03:53, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Careful please[edit]

Please practice using popups because you made this error and restored vandalism. Thanks Tommy (message) 21:54, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Tommy, you´re right, I used popups rarely but I use Huggle now. I hope, it´s better... Kind regards --Jivee Blau (talk) 22:17, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
