User page[edit]

Hi there,

Take a look at this page- it details what should and shouldn't be on a user page- yours currently looks a little bit on the homepage-y side, rather than being of much help to Wikipedia itself.

This isn't a major problem- perhaps take a look at other user's pages for ideas- and help edit other articles!

If you have any questions, contact me on my talk page.

Happy editing!

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to your user page (User:Jjaproductions), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy).

Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors. If you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues here or on my user talk page. You may remove the deletion notice, and the page will not be deleted for the moment, but note that it may still be sent to Miscellany for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Deletion[edit]

"Please note that the purpose of a user page is not as personal homepage or used as a general webhosting service, but as way for active editors of Wikipedia to introduce themselves to other editors." - from above.

I read all rules in wikipedia before joining and creating my page, and there was NOTHING wrong with it.

If that were the case, it wouldn't have been deleted. Perhaps you should take that up with the admin who did the deed, Mailer diablo (talk · contribs). My guess is that he will disagree with your assessment, and having access to its content (unlike myself) can point out exactly why.

You have no reason to be meddling in my affairs. I know MANY people in high places, and if you would like to start a dispute, i would love that also. Hey, lets get some lawyers involved. That'll be fun.

Read this, please. Admins here have a zero-tolerance policy for that sort of thing, and tend to issue permablacks first and ask questions later. Not that I find it even faintly credible, but perhaps you ought to reconsider that remark. --Calton | Talk 06:23, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Making a legal threat to an admin [1]: bad move. Repudiating that remark immediately would be a VERY good idea right about now. --Calton | Talk 06:27, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Better Idea[edit]

Hi,

I would just ask an administrator to restore the article temporarily to a subpage of yours. Then you can copy the code to your hard drive and recreate your user page. Calton placed a {{prod}} (proposed deletion) tag on your user page, which can be removed at any time. If he places it there again, you can remove it, but if it sits there for a while, then it is assumed that no one objects to the deletion. If the {{prod}} fails, then he will have to start a formal debate on the issue. Deleting a user page is unusually harsh and rare, but it's best to work through formal channels here before trying anything else.

Take care,

Blocked[edit]

Your have been blocked indefinitely for making legal threats. You may want to know that I entertain hundreds of deletion appeals per month, and do grant several reasonable and polite requests. Yours wasn't one of them. - Mailer Diablo 10:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Prod notice[edit]

I should have checked the history of the PROD summaries listing page:

Not an editor's page: Only edits (4, all in September) are to this page. WP is not a permanent free webhost/MySpace substitute.

Your unpleasant e-mail messages to me indicate that you are not -- and have no intention of becoming -- a Wikipedia editor except insofar as you can use it as self-promotional tool. Not going to happen.

Note that further messages will be treated as public and will be posted publicly at my discretion. You have been notified. --Calton | Talk 00:01, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NOT#WEBSPACE still applies - and please don't spam all administrators. Agathoclea 08:42, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WOW...THE JIG IS UP. You caught me RED handed. How did you know that i didnt want to be an editor??? Was it that obvious? Maybe the fact that i have a life was a big clue... who knows. You certainly are a genius. I really dont know what to say to that last message. It was almost...well...funny. Oh jeepers, are you going to post them publicly? I AM SO SCARED.... What ever shall i do? Maybe i should beg for forgiveness. I hope you are sensing sarcasm. but seriously... You are a blemish on the face of the earth. One that will surely be missed by nobody. Post that publicly. Lets take a poll on who agrees. HA.

Jjaproductions,

  1. No legal threats. It is a bannable offense, and it did earn you the instant ban.
  2. No personal attacks.
  3. Life is not about Vendetta, please drop it. Take a minute to think through before doing anything next. - Mailer Diablo 13:47, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Email[edit]

Thanks, but I no longer contribute to Wikipedia as I'm short of time, so your 'fight' isn't with me
