December 2021[edit]

Hello, I'm Ferien. I noticed that in this edit to Summit School (Nyack), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Ferien (talk) 19:47, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I understand and apologize. I think it's because I am new to this and how this works. I am a teacher here at the school and we have some great media coverage that we thought should be shared, specifically about our Animal Program because it was featured in a well known publication. I didn't think that would be a problem sharing that information.— Preceding [[Wikipedia:Signatures|Jneiderman (talk) 20:07, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Jneiderman (talk) 20:08, 28 December 2021 (UTC)unsigned]] comment added by Jneiderman (talkcontribs) [reply]

Could you comment on what, if any, relationship you may have with User:Fillinthebrand, who previously added promotional content to the same article? It seems likely to me that that was also you, and that you are not being entirely honest. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:05, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, fillinthebrand is my brother (Andrew Neiderman) He is helping me with trying to add these stories to this page. Anything added that seems like a duplicate is definitely likely and I apologize. I told him my account should be the only one used for this purpose, at least as it's related to what we're trying to share for the school and the positive things that are actually connected to the school. Hello, I am seeing this now and can understand why this would seem like a problem. As a teacher at the school, I know there are very important and positive things happening that aren't made up and certainly not lies I'm trying to promote. I just want to make sure the school gets recognized properly. This press section as it currently stands is such an attack on the school. All of the good that's actually happening is being sidelined on here. I just want these students and their parents to be able to see other things as well. Please let me know what I have to do to make sure this happens appropriately. I am not trying to break rules and if I am doing something the wrong way, I just want to know what has to be done for it to be right. This school is helping students and the organizations page should at least show that.Jneiderman (talk) 19:26, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think I am understanding this a bit more. So it seems that proposing changes on the talk pages would be the best way to go - is this correct? I realize that editing directly on the page might have been the mistake and I apologize.Jneiderman (talk) 19:33, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
