Bob and Penny Lord[edit]

Hiya, I see that you have a subpage in your userspace, User:Joe12811/Bob and Penny Lord. I'm currently contemplating writing an article on this subject, though a better title might be Super Saints, since that's the program that the Lords are hosting. Is it alright with you if I work on the version that's in your userspace, or would you rather that I create my own copy? (and yes I know this account hasn't been active since August, but this is a courtesy note). --Elonka 11:40, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest?[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Pier Giorgio Frassati, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:42, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have brought your pattern of editing to the attention of those who watch the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard here. You will undoubtedly wish to explain your position. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:49, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It would be a good idea to go back to the COI noticeboard and simply state if a conflict of interests exists or not. Are you are employed by any company or organization take makes, distributes, or sells Bob and Penny Lords products? Is there any other relationship that might pose a conflict of interest? Responding to the issue would be better than just ignoring it. If you don't have a conflict of interest, you should go ahead and post the article you wrote the appropriate name space. Best of luck.
