Don't be so quick to have a go at someone else. Certainly in the UK Pittston would be considered a small town based largely on it's size as we don't incorporate cities the same way as in the US. I don't know if the proposer is based in the UK but don't be so quick to assume they are delibrately belittling either the city or its mayor. See WP:CIVIL.

Secondly, the idea for an article on this subject is a very good one. If I may offer a suggestion, I think you should start an article on the general idea of tsunami hitting the US. The source that you used for the article that you created would be a good basis for a new article on the overall risk to the United States. Indeed, maybe I missed it, but the source that you provided makes no mention of Atlantic City. If it would mention a specific risk to Atlantic City the article that you created should not be deleted. But if makes no mention of Atlantic City I cannot support its non-deletio. Therefore, I'm suggesting that you use the very same source for a more general article on the risk.
