You cannot prove notability for someone without an article, unless it's someone automatically notable such as a legislator or professional athlete. You have provided no reliable sources for this guy being notable (YouTube isn't reliable for Wikipedia's purposes), and from what you write I take it that his band hasn't even released a CD. And knowledge of Cherokee is not what's relevant here, knowledge of Wikipedia guidelines is, and the external link guidelines state that any sort of personal site doesn't constitute a reliable source.
