The Troubles and related sources[edit]

This topic is understandably a source of contention and high emotion. However, this is an encyclopaedia and edits must be in accordance with MOS, NPOV, et al. I recommend that you read the suggested material in the above welcome message before continuing to edit. Yours, Quis separabit? 01:49, 4 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, John. Thank you for your edits to The Troubles. It is quite extraordinary that in an article that size Bloody Sunday was not mentioned as a cause of the upsurge of violence in the 1970s before you added it. I am sorry that over-zealous editors reverted your edits for purely bureaucratic reasons. I have now added the content back, at the end of that paragraph, with a suitable citation. I hope you will not be discouraged by your experience. I look forward to future contributions from you. Regards, Scolaire (talk) 16:35, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
