The Manifesto of Mortarism/Maisonneuve/Marc di Saverio[edit]

Please see MARC DI SAVERIO, and perhaps you may like to to write and article based on the stuff left on discussion board. Just a thought. Take care:

Marc di Saverio, born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, is a poet, translator, essayist, and undergraduate student of McMaster University. In 2003 he wrote the book-length Manifesto of Mortarism, an artistic-political manifesto, parts of which are scheduled to appear May, 2006, in Maisonneuve Magazine, a Montreal, general interest magazine in whose "Below the Belt Issue" di Saverio's Selected Translations of Arthur Rimbaud, first appeared.

Suspend Linux[edit]

Hey John! Just wanted to tell you that swsusp and suspend2 run pretty well on my P4 Intel 845 Desktop PC. Don't use suspend2 though because the kernel doesn't compile cleanly if you have the mm patch and the suspend2 patch together. I hope you have the resume parameter set correctly for your kernel. bandan 05:25, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The issue with my laptop is, and always has been, my R300 graphics card. (Actually, looking at that page I see that it's really a RV370) I recently switched to the new XOrg 7.0 modular driver, so I'm hoping that that will resolve some of my issues when I have time to tinker with it again. However, there's still video memory corruption when I resume. (In fact, sometimes gdm doesn't play nicely with it when I'm just logging out.) John Reed Riley 16:10, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
