in response -- while my words may be stirring, my thoughts on everything2 are extremely in outlier territory and hence not entirely cogent to anyone's experience but my own. The phrases may ring resonant but to truly appreciate the changes they describe you would have to have been around since everything1; I think my era of participation was already ancient history by the time you made your account.
