Reverted content at Whaam![edit]

I have reverted your edit to Whaam! because it is unsourced. Please do not add contents based on your own WP:OR. Only add well WP:CITEd content.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 15:55, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

John, WP is not a WP:RS for content. WP is a tertiary resource, meaning that we summarize secondary resources. You need to find a secondary resource that makes any point that you want to add to a properly sourced article.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 21:31, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Tony, authoritative sources for recognition of obsolete aircraft do not appear to exist on the web. I possess some ancient books for aircraft enthusiasts (published by Warne and others in UK) which may be authoritative but I'd like to check with you first since I don't want to continue to try to amend this page and have it reverted again. Incidentally the Mig 15 image http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Mig-15_schema.svg&page=1 - has the annotation "This file is lacking source information. Please edit this file's description and provide a source." but appears to be acceptable. Johninghamdavies (talk) 09:47, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
