Hi Jon, It's great that you want to contribute a new aspect of Rare Earth elements. But your recent edits about strong magnets should use the actual Overland source, not the "Neodymium#cite%20note-15" text which is not a source. Before adding many similar edits, it is best to start with one edit and let it be reviewed by other editors for a couple of days to include improvements. Copying licensed material requires attribution

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Critical geopolitics you included material from a journal article that is available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. GeGaLo Index

Is there a reason you're spamming references to the "GeGaLo Index" cited to single journal article, including in high level articles on countries? What secondary reliable sources demonstrate that this is a highly notable rating? Nick-D (talk) 11:55, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

From looking at the source, this index seems to have been something developed by the authors of that journal article for the purposes only of that article. As such, it doesn't seem suitable to spam across multiple articles, given that it seems to be obscure. Nick-D (talk) 12:00, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for the input Nick-D. I thought Energy Strategy Reviews would be a good source. To me it looks like a serious peer-reviewed journal, published by Elsevier, a major scientific publisher. I have referenced it several places because I think the change in status of countries due to the ongoing attempt at a transition to renewable energy is something that is missing from many Wikipedia articles. Some countries are going up and some are going down, and that is a big global shift. I also see that many Wikipedia articles lack references, so I thought good to add a references. And now that I have read the article and have the information, I thought it would be an efficient way to make a contribution to many different articles. I should also admit that I am very concerned about climate change, and I don't see that as a subjective political agenda. And I have some extra time due to coronavirus quarantine, nice to spend on Wikipedia. I am very sorry if that is all wrong and will stop doing it now.JonFredriksen (talk) 14:25, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
