Speedy deletion of Hardcore Warrior[edit]

A tag has been placed on Hardcore Warrior requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello! In response to the note you left (diff), I think that this list of criteria is the best thing to go by for any potential musician's biography on Wikipedia. It is also important to bear in mind that it is not enough for something to be true to warrant its inclusion on Wikipedia; it must also be verifiable. That is, there must be one or more reliable, third-party sources (i.e., the musician's own webpage doesn't count) that can corroborate any potential details in the Wikipedia article. So even though Hardcore Warrior may be personally influential and admired by a dedicated fan-base, if there aren't any reliable third-party sources that can back up claims of notability (see my list above for the different criteria), then there probably shouldn't be an article on Wikipedia. It's not meant as a personal slight against you or the musician; it's just that to stay useful and reliable as an encyclopaedia, we have to draw the line somewhere for what gets in and what doesn't.
