Template:Capital punishment[edit]

Could you please discuss this before making any more tautologous changes? --John (talk) 13:56, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not everybody in the world knows what Capital Punishment means. I had to look it up on Google to figure out what it meant. The sidebar is thus just confusing for a number of people from regions where they use other terms. The term 'Death Penalty' understood by most people. Why do you consider it 'tautologous' Jorjjdjsjiejejejjsjsjajqoak (talk) 14:03, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
A tautology means saying the same thing twice using different words, which we don't usually do. --John (talk) 14:11, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe the sidebar should use 'Death Penalty' as the title then, it could help make the sidebar more universally understandable.Jorjjdjsjiejejejjsjsjajqoak (talk) 14:15, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I see you have raised this in template talk; that's a good move. --John (talk) 14:51, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your user name[edit]

What does it mean? --John (talk) 14:53, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Its just a bunch or random confusing letters, I like random confusing stuff.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Jorjjdjsjiejejejjsjsjajqoak (talkcontribs) 22:48, 22 January 2013‎
For what it's worth, deliberately confusing usernames are discouraged. It makes it harder for other editors to involve you in discussions when they can't easily repeat your name, and your edits may occasionally be misread as unconstructive if your username makes you look like a vandal in a rush. Your call, though. --McGeddon (talk) 14:54, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Depends on one's perspective, I suppose.Jorjjdjsjiejejejjsjsjajqoak (talk) 15:29, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Undone work[edit]

Hello.

You need to be more careful with your editing. Your undoing Fenix down's revert of your edit of 23 and 24 January to the Foreign relations of North Korea article also undid my edit of early this morning, which I put som effort into. Most of the time, undo is only possible with the last revision, that's why it didn't work.

Will you put my edits back?

Regards

HandsomeFella (talk) 10:30, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I realised that a while ago and I'm working on it now.

Jorjjdjsjiejejejjsjsjajqoak (talk) 10:33, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I re-added as many as I could find, but some of your edits, namely the ones where you changed dating formats, were a bit POV, though I personally believe that all the other ones I found really improved the article. Jorjjdjsjiejejejjsjsjajqoak (talk) 10:53, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The changes to the date format were not POV. Per MOS:DATEUNIFY date should be given in a uniform format throughout the article. Since both dmy and mdy format were present in the article, I had to choose one. I don't care which one is chosen, but it should be only one format.

Regards

HandsomeFella (talk) 15:42, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I looked through the MOS:DATEUNIFY, I'll fix it.

Thanks

Well done then. Thank you very much.

Maruti Suzuki ownership[edit]

Maruti Suzuki is legally a SUBSIDIARY of Suzuki Motor Corporation, a fact that is clearly stated by Maruti Suzuki themselves on their web site [1], so please stop changing the ownership info. Thomas.W (talk) 13:58, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on Suzuki, Maruti Suzuki and others[edit]

Please do not continue the disruptive editing of Jemappelleungarcon (talk), all the user warnings and general comments given to that user name still apply (recommended reading: WP:QUACK). Thomas.W (talk) 15:16, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What's this supposed to mean????????? Jorjjdjsjiejejejjsjsjajqoak (talk) 15:19, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What's up with the 'duck' page? It's bloody confusing. Please explain.Jorjjdjsjiejejejjsjsjajqoak (talk) 15:22, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It is, as you very well know, meant to mean that continuing to make edits that have been repeatedly reverted earlier will get you into trouble. And that the "duck test", "if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it most probably is a duck", makes it highly probable that your current user, which made its first edit on 19 January, 2013, and edits the exact same pages as, and in the exact same style as, Jemappelleungarcon, which made its currently last edit on 18 January, 2013, is an attempt by you to circumvent the user warnings and advice you have been given. Thomas.W (talk) 15:30, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh wow, quack quack quack! Nicely spotted Thomas. --Biker Biker (talk) 15:31, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jemappelleungarcon for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Biker Biker (talk) 15:34, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You, Biker Biker, aka talk, are acting more like a 'sockpuppeteer' (Or a 'duck', appearantly) than any other users I've met on Wikipedia.

Quack quack :) --Biker Biker (talk) 15:47, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
