All changes you suggested are made. Does being judged top 500 in an industry make a subject notable? It is an analytical view form a third party that cannot be significantly influenced, and is designed to by objective in its field? Does being recognized by broadcast media as a subject matter expert make a subject notable? Are news programs on TV or Radio Stations considered significant, reliable third party coverage or not?

I'd really like to know. Because if not the notability guidelines are looking very arbitrary and biased towards certain kinds of media outlets. A few years ago things were not this tight.

This is not about me, but this field gets very little coverage here, while Wikipedia is filling up with ind-filmmaker pages and starlet profiles of people nobody has ever heard of. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DrSchlagger (talk • contribs) 01:21, 25 January 2016‎

@DrSchlagger: To answer your questions in order, here goes:
It doens't make it notable, but might help to prove that it is notable, if rleiable sources has discussed that it has reived that judgement. If only the "judges" has mentioned it, then it is not notable, others need to take not of it.
It depends on if the media has discussed the subject in-depth or not. Then those sources of them doing so should be used.
If the news/TV coverage is independent and discusses the topic in-depth and not just mentions them, then that might help prove notability. However, noting gives automatic notability, only can prove that is notable.
Our notability guidelines needs to be long and complicated in order to not let "anything" in, because then Wikipedia would be considered even less reliable. (t) Josve05a (c) 05:07, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

dump problem.

Checkwiki is barfing on page sv:Crni Vrh (bergstopp i Bosnien och Hercegovina, Federationen Bosnien och Hercegovina, lat 44,08, long 17,03) and other similar loooong title pages. There is a link to a bot's user directory sv:Användare:Lsjbot/Algoritmer on these pages. Well, there are a ton of articles with this user link, 202,029 articles to be precise. I'm not sure what the policy is on svwiki, but on enwiki, this would not be allowed. I'm not sure what to do here. Bgwhite (talk) 00:47, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

I belive the lin is in a template to indicate that a bot created the article, and that link is showing how it was done. May perhaps be moved to WP_space....(t) Josve05a (c) 06:31, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
A bot did create the page, but the link is talking about an algorithm (I think). A template or other means would sure be better. If that user page ever gets removed or changed, that would be a big mess to cleanup. I also found the problem with svwikisource. I fixed the pages there, so that shouldn't be a problem again (I hope). Bgwhite (talk) 06:44, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
