Welcome to my talk page.[edit]

I am a open source enthousiast and especially network and security products attract my interrest. As such I am a contributor to the OPNsense community project.

I'd be happy to discuss my post or edits here with you or give feedback on subjects that interrest me. My time is limited, so don't expect me to write full articles for you, but I may be willing to help you if I can.

June 2016[edit]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to List of router and firewall distributions. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 00:26, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@NeilN: Thank you for replying, but itsnt promotional material.. its a ligitimate project that belongs on the list. Please inform yourself before making such a claim. The user that is removing content from all over wikipedia is actually a pfSense member and Netgate employee. He holds a grudge against OPNsense. Joswp (talk) 05:53, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I did look into the matter before issuing the warning. I'm issuing it again as you seem to have ignored what Crow has said. Please do not add the entry to the list again or you will be blocked for disruption. If you wish to write a new article about the project, I suggest you use the Article wizard. This will create the article in the Draft namespace, allow you to work on it without fear of deletion, and get the opinions of uninvolved editors as to whether or not our notability criteria has been met. --NeilN talk to me 11:32, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@NeilN: Don't worry NielN I have been working in good fate. I can't understand why you think it is a good idea to remove content from the wiki one doesn't like. It happened over and over again, others have complained too. I'll be waiting for reason to step in and hope you will go a bit further and really investigate the issue, as regardless of who should add what, OPNsense is an open source router and firewall distribution that should be on that list. For sake of WP users, you can still check that fact and work from there.

Anyway...it seems, the troll has won this time.. WP has lost, too bad and a loss for the readers. Joswp (talk) 13:10, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Joswp: Your really have to stop producing such horrendous disinformation about me. You accuse me of being a "pfSense member and Netgate employee" yet you are the man behind OPNsense project. Nobody but your employees and people associated with your project have inserted OPNsense self-promotion in multiple Wikipedia pages. Just because I pointed out your abuse does not give you right to publicly attack me and maliciously spread falsehoods. You've been told multiple times, stop abusing Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Lastly, Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a forum so please start respecting it. Mr.hmm (talk)

@Mr.hmm: You are vandalising WP and hold a grudge against OPNsense. Somehow you managed to use WP for your personall vendetta. It's a shame. But, hey you seem to have won anyway.. why keep nagging me? In my book and that of a lot of other people you are trolling and making a mess of WP.

You are part of Netgate (or should I say was) and promoting pfSense, very biased anyone would say.

Personally I don't care anymore. Time will certainly solve this issue and I am very patient as you must know by now.

I'll keep working on positive things and make OPNsense better together with the rest of the growing community.

Good luck, and may you have an interesting life. Joswp (talk) 19:49, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:OPNsense[edit]

Hello, Joswp. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "OPNsense".

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 02:00, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
