I see that you've also added yourself this page again, though reverted yourself. I have verified that you are a member of Alpha Phi Omega, initiated into the Zeta chapter at Stanford University in 1970. Were you initiated as an undergraduate, or a graduate/professional student at Stanford? The reason I ask is that I found a listing for a Dr. John R. Hall at Morehead State University's Alumni Hall of Fame, graduating in '66, '67 and inducted into the hall of fame in 1981. I am not certain if this is you or not?
Self-listing and autobiographies are generally frowned upon on wikipedia. The more accepted way to go about this would be to post something about this on the talk page associated with the article, and let others verify the information and add it to the page. Many self-listings are likely to be reverted automatically without prejudice.
All information must be verifiable, so that's why I am looking into this further. A google search of your name is rather enlightening:
- promoted as tenured faculty of surgery at ETSU in 2001: [1]
- attached to these two Journal of Trauma Injury, Infection, and Critical Care articles (though you don’t appear to be listed as an author, I don't have access to the full journal articles): [2] [3]
- supposedly, someone with your name is listed as a “voodoo doctor” on this page. (I doubt this is you, but I got a good laugh,... ;-)

If you could provide additional references to shed some light on your claimed notability, that would greatly help. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Alpha Phi Omega, you will be blocked from editing.
It is others who are vandalizing the site. I have ref my spot and others are removing it without refs.

Good news! I was finally able to track down Zeta chapter's website! When the site address was entered into our national database, it was entered incorrectly (the address is case-sensitive), so I found it by going here:
The 'about us' section has a few interesting tidbits regarding the chapters earlier history in the 1970s, in many ways clarifying and reinforcing some of the things that you said earlier.
As an additional note, the site appears active, so I suppose if you wanted to contact some of the current members, maybe shedding further light on some of their history for them, you might want to do that.
