I'd almost forgotten about this absurd situation. The review was deleted because it "infringed" a copyright, but whoever edited the submission is citing a phantom copyright. There was no copyright to infringe because nothing was ever published (!), not even the paper that was presented verbally along with projected slides at the Lima Peru scientific meeting. I checked with the chairman of that meeting, and he told me that none of the symposium's proceedings were ever put into print. I thus invite the editor who moved to delete my review to show me a document that was actually infringed by what I wrote. It is not a copyright infringement to cite a literature reference or to make brief summaries of the results of cited literature references, especially in the case of historical reviews; if it were, much of the content of Wikipedia would be in violation of copyright law! - John R.
