Dune: HCA Film Awards[edit]

Can you add the HCA Film Awards nominations? Dune leads the ranking with ten nominations.--88.27.205.194 (talk) 22:15, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Feroz Award for Best Main Actor in a Film. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Feroz Awards. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Feroz Awards. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Mccapra (talk) 23:19, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, minor issue[edit]

I see Mccapra has already left a similar message I was about leaving, please could you stop creating separate categories which do not have enough sources for a standalone? If you must go to Feroz Awards & expand the article but please stop creating separate articles for the award categories which do not have enough sources for a stand alone. Thank you. Hi, I think you should reduce your Latin Grammy awards table. You should only have won. The career section is particularly small for a BLP and tables are massive. It only really needs the important entries and I think taking about the nominations is one way of doing it.

Hi[edit]

Hi, JuliánLeiva66. Thanks for your great work in awards articles. I note that you tend to replace the {{Awards table|5}} template by a personalised table including a column titled "recipients" instead of "nominees" in some film article awards. If sources generally stressed the items of the colum as recipients, I would have no problem whatsoever with a personalised column (I actually personalise them with an ad-hoc text alignment to get a cleaner presentation), although from experience, sources I am most familiar with use the nomination frame. That is the case, for example, with the Feroz Awards. The nominee is the film, whether it is added the "produced by" tag or not. I do not know if the producers in the "produced by" label may qualify as "recipients" or not (well, they might do if they scoop the award), but I do not think them as the nominees (which is the film, right?). In that light, I am going to propose you to leave that information (the produced by) away from those Awards table tables, and to include the information in the specific article about the awards instead, preferably following the same wording "produced by". What do you think? In addition I was told about the wrong use of the {{Award category}} template (I was doing things wrong). In addition to the award category header, it technically should span also to the winners and nominees (it is a thing pertaining readibility). Are you ok if I fix the latter? Regards--Asqueladd (talk) 15:39, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, i'm not too familiarized with the templates for the awards tables, i just repeated ones that i saw in various film pages. Make the changes that you consider necessary, thanks for telling me. JuliánLeiva66 (talk) 16:09, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the readability issues i've left things this way in the article about the 10th Feroz Awards. It is possible that the (still in force) merging of columns ("motion picture", "Best Performance in a Motion Picture", "Best Supporting Performance in a Motion Picture", "Other") creates a similar kind of readability concerns (insofar the full bit of the information required to fully grasp an award category is split in two different boxes), but we should perhaps ask the editor who gently warned me about my wrongdoings (@HTGS:). Regards.--Asqueladd (talk) 18:58, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:British Academy Children Awards indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Better source request for File:Los Años Salvajes.jpg[edit]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13 21:05, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello JuliánLeiva66, I thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, International Emmy Award for Best Kids: Animation, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/International Emmy Award for Best Kids: Animation.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|FuzzyMagma}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Awards should demonstrate notability[edit]

Hi. I see that you have added multiple awards that are not notable to the List of accolades received by The Boy and the Heron. Please undo[edit]

This edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Grammy_Award_for_Best_Alternative_Jazz_Album&diff=next&oldid=1207048758 removed required accessibility features per MOS:DTAB. Why did you do this? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 05:35, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I tried to follow the format for the other categories of the awards. Sorry if I made a significant error. JuliánLeiva66 (talk) 21:58, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That is understandable, but unfortunately, many, many articles on Wikipedia do not meet basic accessibility guidelines and you are not at all the only person who is unaware. :/ If you are motivated to learn more about web accessibility or work on making this site more accessible, see WP:ACCESSIBLE. Please let me know if I can help somehow. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 22:15, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please restore the required accessibility natures that you removed. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:51, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have checked other Grammy category pages and the tables follow the same format, I don't know what is the exact thing to be edited in the page you mentioned. Do the other category pages also need the same change? Could you tell me exactly what I have to edit? JuliánLeiva66 (talk) 14:52, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the others need to be changed, too. All tables need to have these features per MOS:DTAB: table captions, scopes for columns, and scopes for rows. There are other things that they should and should not have in general, but in this case, those are the three things that I added to the table and the three things that need to be re-added. Thanks. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 20:10, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you going to make this change? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 04:17, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Could you do it? JuliánLeiva66 (talk) 23:18, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can, but to be clear I am under an editing restriction to have zero reverts for at least several months. I'll take this as you accepting that this is an okay change to make but that you're just not necessarily confident to make it yourself, so you're requesting me to do it. Thanks for being understanding and working on this with me. Please let me know if you need any help in the future. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 23:22, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
