March 2024[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove or change other editors' legitimate talk page comments again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Acroterion (talk) 16:30, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is not constructive, kind or helpful. I asked you on your talk page *why* you seem to be against editing other user’s comments. You never answered my question, but you gave me this pretty over the top message that if I make just one more mistake, I’m going to be blocked from Wikipedia. That’s no way to treat a newcomer. I’ll be consulting with other administrators about this, because as far as I can tell, your claims that one may not edit other users’ comments on talk pages directly contradicts the official Wikipedia guidelines page on talk page refactoring, where it says the exact opposite. You have yet to explain to me why your admonition to not edit talk pages is valid in light of Wikipedia guidelines saying otherwise, apart from your unconstructive power-gesture of threatening to block me. Julkhamil (talk) 14:55, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your response isn't constructive. Don't change what other people have already said. It is not up to you to reinterpret what people have said according to your own preference, and still less to put words into other editors' mouths, Exceptions to that are very limited, and what you have done is not among those exceptions. It is disruptive, and if persisted in, is something that can and will be sanctioned. Please confine your grammar corrections to articles, and not to what other people have already said. Thank you for clarifying about your other account, but you did in fact use the other as a sockpuppet, since you edited the same talkpage with that account without clearly identifying the account as an alternate account.Your explanation is reasonable, but please remember to stick to one account if you are working with a particular topic, or clearly state what you're doing in the edit summary. This section is likely inappropriate. If you are new to Wikipedia I recommend searching for info at Wikipedia:Village pump or asking questions at the WP:TEAHOUSE. Cheers. DN (talk) 04:36, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Julkhamil, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Juliushamilton100 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 04:52, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That is my old account that was auto logged into my iOS Wikipedia app when I re-downloaded it to my phone. When I tried to log into it on my browser I couldn’t recover the password but I managed to recover the password to a different past account. Hence I am now using the one account I know the password to and not using the former account any longer. Julkhamil (talk) 14:51, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the explanation. Please use Template:User alternative account on the user page of the julius account. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 17:17, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 03:00, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please compile a list of the disruptive edits that I made? Julkhamil (talk) 12:24, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They're right there in my response to your complaint at AN, and for that matter the spectacularly misinformed complaint itself. And as I and multiple editors have told you, policy does not allow you to refactor the comments of other editors. To quote another admin, your post at AN showed astonishingly poor judgment. If your only interest on Wikipedia is to change other editors' comments according to your own ideas, you will stay blocked. Acroterion (talk) 14:17, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
