I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition. Thanks! Usedtobecool ☎️ 08:22, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
thanks for your feedback! I was referring to the Slush event article on wiki as a reference, which described the event, key participants, and event highlights and figures. To improve, do you think I should remove the 2023 edition mentions to keep it more generic? Junieparker (talk) 08:53, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Possible sources[edit]

Can use this as a source [1], will help with sources if I come with any other more. Reliable sources will require mostly non primary sources like SMU or various universities. Reliable sources will require mostly non primary sources, sources from SMU or various universities are considered primary sources which are not suitable for most cases. They are only suitable for referring to basic facts but not suitable for establishing notability. News articles are most preferred like the one I linked above. Articles which are 90% about a team and just mentioned they participated in the competition are considered passing mentions as the article is about the team, not the competition. Hope this is clearer for you. ~ JASWE (talk) 04:12, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! Will bear your feedback in mind 122.11.214.18 (talk) 04:16, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
NewspaperSG has most of the old articles [2] which you can use. For articles that you can view directly, just click on article and use it as a reference. For those not able to view and in microfilm only, either walk over to National Library building and view from there or via NewsLink. If SMU does not have an account for you to access NewsLink, you can get a NLB membership (which is free), go to [3], login with the NLB membership, and click More under the Database section, finds Newslink (should be on second page, listed as number 30) and click through. ~ JASWE (talk) 04:33, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
