U2 are/is[edit]

Not a problem - or "no worries" as we say in 'Australian English'. To be honest, normally i ignore any such changes in the article, it really trivial actually. kind regards Merbabu 01:44, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Saving My Face[edit]

Check out WP:CITE for information about citing print. As to deletion, I'm not inclined to nominate the article. Somebody else could certainly do so, precisely because WP:MUSIC indicates that singles and songs generally aren't notable unless the song has an unusual amount of scholarly activity surrounding it (perhaps something like Stairway to Heaven, I'd think) or unless it already has charted. The idea is actually to have the song chart and then create an article about it. Erechtheus 01:24, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

KT Tunstall Drastic Fantastic[edit]

We are still a fairly new site (just under 6 months old). we are currently in the process of adding our own page to Wiki. We have been asked before maybe understandably to prove ourselves and have done so. I fully understand your reasons for questioning it, but we are expanding and becoming noticed.

Your assistance would be appreciated

Fair use rationale for Image:Relentless Records.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Relentless Records.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Ckfm.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ckfm.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:34, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You moved "Clarkson, Mississauga"[edit]

Why? --Pwnage8 (talk) 01:34, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Consistency, eh? You probably didn't realize that Lakeview, Mississauga was without the Ontario before Clarkson was, and I moved Clarkson for consistency. Keep in mind that the other communities don't yet have "Mississauga" in their name. This could be because these places are still viewed as their own villages, as opposed to neighbourhoods, or that there hasn't been any consensus to move them so far. I will speak to an admin about whether to move them or not, so they could be moved very soon. Are we in agreement to move it back where it was? Post on my talk page, and make sure to sign your post. --Pwnage8 (talk) 21:42, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I just thought I'd share a link with you to avoid any future confusion on your part. Canadian neighbourhood articles are governed by WP:CANSTYLE#Neighbourhoods/communities. Since the Mississauga article is now "Mississauga" and not "Mississauga, Ontario", communities in the city will be either "Neighbourhood, City" (if there is to be disambiguation) or "Neighbourhood, Ontario". Communities that aren't valid municipal mailing addresses will not have the suffix "Ontario". I went ahead and moved pages per these guidelines last month. I suggest you change the links to Clarkson on your userpage, because that article is staying put. --Pwnage8 (talk) 13:37, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Nikon D90 DSLR.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The file File:Tuilogo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
