Speedy deletion nomination of Alteryx[edit]

Hello K8fr0st,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Alteryx for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Ishdarian 05:12, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi K8fr0st. So, the article reads as very promotional right now. I took a deeper look after I got your message and I noticed that a lot of the material is either copied word for word or slightly modified from the referenced works. You did a great job providing your sources, however, you need to abide by our copyrights policy. A great essay to read about this is at WP:Plagiarism. I saw you've created a few articles in the past, but it's been a while since you've edited. I'd suggest taking a look at WP:FIRST, which is a guide to creating your first article, but it also gives great pointers for everyone to follow along with. My suggestion if you want to rebuild the article would be to create it in your sandbox first. You can take your time to work on it and, if you like, I could give you a hand. If you have any more questions, leave them here on your page. I'll be keeping an eye out :) Ishdarian 05:35, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
