Why I've reverted your edits to Chris Wallace[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad to see someone participate in the project who isn't trying to push a right-wing, neoconservative point of view. We have quite a few of those types around already. They keep trying to turn Wikipedia into another mouthpiece for Bush administration spin.

One of our bulwarks against that approach is the policy of the Neutral Point of View, often cited with the quick reference WP:NPOV. Please take a look at it. It means that, on a controversial matter, we report the notable opinions without adopting any of them.

On that basis, we can't simply assert that Chris Wallace practices yellow journalism. That's an opinion, not an objective fact.

What we can do is to cite prominent criticisms of Wallace, with attribution and citation, so that the reader knows who's asserting the opinion. For example, in the text of the article you'll see a report of the Media Matters for America criticism of Wallace for being soft on Bush administration officials on the terrorism issue. We can present the facts and let the readers make up their own minds about whether Wallace is a yellow journalist. JamesMLane t c 23:52, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Tiny_Speck_Inc_logo.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Tiny_Speck_Inc_logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box.
