Hi Vinegarymass911, I believe each article has to be judged on a case by case basis. If you have read Bangladeshi newspapers in recent years and if you are really neutral, then you should already have some idea about the election engineering in Bangladesh. On this ground, I disagree to the part that one politician has to be elected to be considered notable. In general, we cannot have articles about non-elected candidates because those candidates will not get significant coverage in mainstream news media anyway. On the other hand, for the said article, I have included enough references from all the major newspapers in Bangladesh to prove the coverage. I agree that the language or point of view of the article could be improved to make it look non-promotional. But that is an ongoing work and if the said article was not deleted, then other volunteers could have edited the article! --Kaisernahid (talk) 22:33, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There is no mention of "when" this subject occurs anywhere in the lede. You know when and how recent, but a large number of readers won't have any idea. While they are currently live, there might get reverted any moment as they are unreferenced. It would be much better if you can provide with citations for each of these award claims. Thanks. NB: Please be sensitive about your words choice on such controversial article like this. Make sure whataver you add stays unibiased. Also, avoid using puffery words, i.e., you used "she won many national and international awards," rather use word like "several." Hello, @Tame the citation was added right after the last award, if you kindly take the time to visit the citation link, then you will be able to see the reference for all the awards in that same link. I have no objection against 'several' even though Deutsche Welle actually used the term "অসংখ্য পুরস্কার" which means "Many awards" in English. If you need help with Bengali language, I will try to send you some references. Furthermore, DW is a third party source. So, please enlighten me if I am missing anything here. @Kaisernahid, after checking out the source, and translating the page, now it seems that adding the citations after the last award was the reason behind my inadequate citation objection. I've replaced the citation after the "Her notable awards [sic] are:[ref]." Now this will give an idea to other users or readers that this citation might cover all the data's inserted below this line. Thanks for contribution tho, peace! Btw I've noticed a Bengali archer Diya Siddique has recently received some substantial amount of media coverage, both national and international. While her partner Ruman Shana already is on WIkipedia in multiple languages, there's no page for her. As a,n ardent member and contributor of the Wikiproject Women In Red, I tend to create articles on women, but I couldn't find that much of info (i.e., birth dates, birth place, how did she start her career, etc.) to start with her article.
