This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, KakMassoudMustHang, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.  7  11:43, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If Slemani is referring to سلێمانی in Iraqi Kurdistan I suggest you pick another name. Sean.hoyland - talk 13:15, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What the hell is wrong with Slemani? I can't use my own city's name in my username now???? We've got one Admin here, accepting and rejecting people's requests, called Malik Shabazz!!!!! He can use a real life political, partisan (some might even say, extreme) person, and I can't use the name of my city?!?! Please explain! KakMassoudMustHang (talk) 13:18, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not an admin so you can ignore me, I'm just trying to help. Nothing is wrong with Slemani, however, it seems to me that 'FreeSlemani' could be seen as advocacy which may make your editing experience more difficult than is necessary if you encounter editors who don't like it (not that that is necessarily very likely). {{unblock|What the heck?! By god, what a way to welcome new users! This is a shared IP "Jpgordon", NEWROZ Telecom, (www.newroztelecom.com/newroz/) in Iraqi Kurdistan. For instance, I can't use megaupload or ifile.it either, because there are too many requests at once!}}

This is a checkuser block and as such will not be overturned except by a checkuser. If you really feel it is justified, e-mail the blocking admin. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 20:02, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

the "checkuser" admin who mistakingly blocked me doesn't have an email function on his talk page - I AM NOT LEDENIERHOMME!!!! My NAME IS ASO and I'M FROM SOUTH KURDISTAN (Iraq) - I'd be happy to give an admin my phone number and they can call me to verify this! KakMassoudMustHang (talk) 06:33, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The administrator in question, Jpgordon, does have email enabled. The link to the form is reproduced here for your convenience. Favonian (talk) 09:51, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure why you were asked to email me; all I'm going to say in response to "no I'm not a sockpuppet" is "yes you are". --jpgordon::==( o ) 15:37, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Jpgordon has not responded to my email. I have offered to confirm my real life identity, and he doesn't seem interested. I can provide my phone number, address, passport, photographs, what else? This is pure discrimination, if i lived in any other country with normal internet services, this wouldn't be a problem. My IP is shared by hundreds, priobably, thousands of other people here - Wikipedia says it aims to have a global viewpoint and not be prejucdiced about input from non-Western countries, but obviously with admin behaving like this it is impossible. KakMassoudMustHang (talk) 07:24, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

None of those documents would have any effect as we can't confirm them, certainly not over email connections. Anybody could create any reasonable facsimile of a document and alter it. Plus, we don't know the sockmaster's real identity, either, so what good would your paperwork do even assuming it's genuine. We base these blocks on the evidence we can see and assess. Yes, sometimes people get caught in them unnecessarily, but I don't think that's the case here. Now please consider that you've made four requests all basically making the same "NO I'M NOT" argument, all of which have been declined by four different admins. Should you continue in this vein, I feel we would be justified in revoking access to this talk page. I'm not doing it now because I'm being nice. — Daniel Case (talk) 16:02, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Oh no, please god no! Please don't revoke access to this talk page! What will my life be like without it!?!!!

So you're saying there's no way to confirm my real identity? Well how does that work? How have you confirmed your identity? You think I would forge passports and phone numbers just to register on Wikipedia? When I can simply go to my friend's computer and register under a different name?

"but I don't think that's the case here"

Oh no? And what have you based that on? Some middle-aged, bald, bearded folk-singing American hillbilly called "jpgordon" just stuck his nose in and saw that this ip (which is SHARED BY THOUSANDS - call the company to confirm this) was used by someone else?!

Yeah, real professional. Real thorough.

The irony is, now i WILL sign up under a different name, and therefore WILL be a sockpuppet - and no one will know, because I only edited one fucking article before I was blocked!

Good work Wikipedia! KakMassoudMustHang (talk) 13:27, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
