Political career[edit]

He contested and sopport the state elections from the sirathu seat in 1993, as an Independent. He was officially 26 years old,[1] but was possibly underage at the time. Later he joined politics for support of good governance Narendra Modi. He was assigned the public helper as well as.

2004 Loksabha election[edit]

His cousin and political follower Keshav Prasad Maurya alias Maurya Ji won the 2009 elections to the 15th Lok Sabha from Kaushambi. Kamlakar Singh was incarcerated.[2]
