May 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Go Down Moses has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zgqgq9bges&feature=channel_page). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:26, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oops...[edit]

...my apologies. When I see articles lacking wikis and with improperly capitalized titles, it means a copyright violation 99.9% of the time. This appears to be one of the .01%. I'll restore it immediately. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 06:57, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, you're all set. I moved it to the proper title and added some "cleanup" notices to alert other editors. Again, sorry about the mix-up. Regards, --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:00, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Already done re. the capitalization. :) You'll see a tab marked "move" at the top of each page. That will give you the opportunity to move the article to a correct title and give you the option of automatically leaving a redirect. That's something any user can do in case of a titling error. You can also contact an administrator such as me. Thanks again for your understanding. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:03, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think you'll be OK regarding the link. I've linked to YouTube articles in the past and I've never had a problem with it. Bringin' Home the Oil comes to mind. Feel free to open it up for editing in order to see what I did. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 07:05, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doris Akers[edit]

In the future, please capitalize last names of people in article titles. For example, just as Akers is capitalized in articles, it should be capitalized in titles. Also, this is an encyclopedia not a fan page so can you please edit the article to take out subjective info such as "undoubtedly one of the most underrated Gospel composers of the past century" Unless you have a citation to back it up (for example, Rolling Stone names John Q. Singer the best singer of the century, Issue 3979849 May 2099), it is simply an opinion. Postcard Cathy (talk) 07:51, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Doris akers - the sky pilot.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Doris akers - the sky pilot.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:39, 29 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:39, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
