Deletion discussion about Roots industries[edit]

Hello, Karthihosur

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Meeanaya and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Roots industries, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Roots industries.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Meeanaya}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of KPR Mill[edit]

Hello Karthihosur,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged KPR Mill for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

References[edit]

Please remember to add references for an article at the point when you create it, unlike the way you did for Roots industries. It can take up a lot of other editors' time if you create an article with no or very few independent sources, so that someone proposes it for deletion, before you have added your references. Once you hit the "Publish" button, an article should be fit for the encyclopedia. If you need to save an earlier version, please do so in your own "sandbox" rather than as an encyclopedia article. Thanks. PamD 08:31, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article KPR mill has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable company, all third-party sources are routine coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. creffett (talk) 17:09, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on KPR mill, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Nomination of Rajesh Govindarajulu for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Rajesh Govindarajulu is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rajesh Govindarajulu until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Abishe (talk) 06:54, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Roots Industries[edit]

Hello, Karthihosur,

Thank you for creating Roots Industries.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thank you for your new article on Roots Industries, but note that editors have questioned whether the company is notable enough for a Wikipedia article. For pointers, follow the links in the notice at the top of the article. If this matter is not addressed, future editors could call for the article to be deleted.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hi I’m reviewing this article you created and I’m afraid that at the moment it does not meet the notability requirements of Wikipedia. You have one good source from The Hindu but you need more than this. Detailed and specific coverage in national newspapers is great, as are references in independently-published books. Blogs and social media aren’t ok though. References don’t have to be in English, they can be in any language. Can you find anything else to support this article? If not it may be proposed for deletion I’m afraid. All the best Mccapra (talk) 04:42, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
