Thank you for adding this article. I'm wondering though about the line mentioning American Indians and settlers who used B. koreana for medical puposes. Does the book by Burrows really refer to the koreana species in this context? I'd really be surprised if a shrub that is native to Korea would have been a traditional remedy in North America.
